OK, Professor and Class. I really feel behind the times and computer illiterate! This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to upload. Hopefully, it comes up ok for everyone. If not, I give up lol

Hello Week three!!!
1. Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal wellbeing), where do you rate your:
A. Physical Well being: I would rate my physical well being at a 7. I try to exercise 4-5 days a week and eat fairly healthy as well. I did have an emergency c-section a year ago, and as crazy as it sounds am still trying to bounce back from that. It has been a long road. I rarely drink and have recently quit smoking. Wish me luck!
B. Spiritual Well being: I would rate myself at a 2. I do not practice any form of religion or spirituality. This is an area I certainly need to focus on. The past few months I have really gotten into practicing yoga, and would like to incorporate more of the spiritual aspect of it into my life.
C. Psychological Well being: I would rate myself at a 6. I do tend to get stressed pretty easily and with two young children that is on a daily basis!! I also have OCD, which if anyone else suffers from it, you know causes life to be even more stressful.
2.Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological).
My goal to get better physically begins with what I am already doing, quitting smoking and being physically active. I just want to stay focused and continue to work each day towards getting stronger and more in shape. Spiritually, as I stated previously, look to incorporating more of the spiritual side of yoga into my life. I know this will help me to be healthier and relieve the toll of stress. Psychologically, I would like to work on finding methods to help me from becoming stressed out as much. I do take a med for the OCD and that is paired with weekly counseling to help manage it.
3. What activities or exercise can you implement in your life to assist in moving toward each goal?
Right now I feel that I am on the right track. I just have to work hard, stay focused, and stay committed. I can enlist my loved ones to keep me motivated and hold me accountable.
4.Complete the relaxation exercise The Crime of the Century.
I must say this was really long, and as a full time student and mother of two small kids, I honestly turned it off half way through. I felt I could be doing a million other things rather than listen to this. Did I mention I have OCD (lol)?

Hello everyone!!! Well, It is Monday and been a long week already ...lol. I did the journey on relaxation exercise this evening. At first I found the relaxation exercise just that, relaxing. I like the way the speaker made reference to our muscles being like sponges. However, as the exercise went on, I must admit I did lose focus and found myself saying, " isnt this over yet?". This broke my focus and I was no longer in a relaxed state. I will definitely need to practice this!
